 Our Client a global It outsourcing and Services Company is looking for a Head of Applications Value Management (AVM) - Business Development and Transformation focus

Due to ambitious growth plans our client are currently looking to appoint a Practice Leader for our Applications Value Management BU in the UK. This position can also have an EMEA remit for the right candidate.

This will be a Leadership position (AVP/VP level) reporting to Global AVM Head of Markets based in the US, with a dotted reporting line to the UK Country Head.

This is a unique opportunity to take charge of an already successful Practice which needs to be steered towards further growth and transformation in the UK / Europe region. The role calls out for a seasoned Business Development and Transformation Leader with a vision and gravitas to reposition parts of the offering where necessary and to take cutting-edge solutions to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Application Transformation taking place in UK including Automation and Legacy Disruption. Good understanding of Digital transformation journeys clients are undergoing.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in solutioning and winning Integrated deals across ADM and Infrastructure areas.
  • Lead on large outcome-driven pricing deals. This will require a solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, Automation and how to leverage these Digital elements in Application deals.
  • Focus on growing the Application Management business in the UK / Europe geography - both offense and defense.
  • Demonstrate strategic focus, a proven ability to evaluate and direct market positioning.

• Be able to identify emerging developments and market trends, cross-selling opportunities and differentiating factors and new commercial models - PaaS/Application Pricing/Outcome based models.
• Be adept at client perception management, competitive analysis, navigation of a changing legal environment and similar higher-level functions.
• Coach and mentor juniors, including agreeing on objectives, priorities and methods to enhance commercial functions within the group
• Uphold tight supervision of the team, ensuring the quality and accuracy of all commercial materials
• Manage a diverse set of accounts across various verticals in UK with a focus on AVM Service Line; Track record of spearheading and managing large client portfolios across a distributed geography.
• Be able to coordinate global support teams including marketing, delivery, architecture and pre-sales to ensure greater customer success
 
 
Relationships:
• Reports to Global Market Leader of AVM Practice and the UK Country Head
• Working relationships with industry leaders and other unit leaders esp. other Application and Infrastructure horizontals
• Represents the Application Services unit to client leaders, software vendors and technology partners in a leadership capacity
 
Experience & Qualifications:
• BA or equivalent required; MBA or other applicable graduate degree highly desirable.
• Very extensive work experience, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment, with focus on Application Services) primarily in the conduct of business development with clients and target clients.
• Experience in consulting or financial services industries required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; a confident, professional manner of interaction
 
This Leadership position comes with a generous compensation package which consists of a six figure base salary, a car allowance, Target Bonus, a stock package (RSU's and PSU's), a generous pension scheme and other executive level benefits.

We are looking for UK-based candidates who can travel to London and are open to business travel as and when required.
